Clients and Behavior Information

I have so many wonderful clients. My job as a pet sitter has led me on a wonderful journey. I get to spend time with so many four-legged friends. Many of them are getting older and having more health issues. I have been spending a great deal of time consulting my clients on proper nutrition for their animals. Dog Behavior

Have you ever wondered what a well-trained dog looks like in your life? Take a look right here:

5 Traits of a Well-trained Dog

  • 1. Your Dog is focused. A well-trained dog can stay focused on specific tasks that are required.
  • 2. Your Dog Doesn’t Struggle With Separation Anxiety, which can be another trait of a well-trained dog that is one without separation anxiety.
  • 3. Your Dog Listens to Your Commands. Another trait of a well-trained canine companion is following commands.
  • 4. Your Dog Adapts Well to Changes.
  • 5. Your Dog Does Well on a Leash, walking nicely without excessive commands.

Choosing a trainer that will work with you on the basic commands, and manners. From an early age, dogs should be socialized after being taken from the mother. This is to help the puppies feel more confident in their learning without the mom guiding them. Training is lifelong, but just like children, they must learn with positive instruction and reprimands when they make mistakes.
